Prof. Zhixin Wang, Shanghai Jiaotong University, China
Prof. Zhixin Wang received his BE degree in department of Scientific Instrumentation from Zhejiang University in 1985, M.S. degree in Department of Scientific Instrumentation, from Zhejiang University, in 1988 and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, from Zhejiang University in 1994. Prof. Wang Zhixin is a full Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. Professor Zhixin Wang conducts research in the areas of wind power, photovoltaic generation and control technology, distributed generations of smart grid and intelligent distribution system, motor control system and energy-saving system. He has published more than 100 international academic research papers, and there are 14 Sci index papers. He currently serves as Vice-Chairman of Shanghai Hydroelectric Engineering Society, Committee member of Shanghai New Energy Association Committee of Experts, and Honorary director of Shanghai Mechanical Engineering Society, etc.
Prof. Chengke Zhou, IET Fellow, Glasgow Caledonian University, UK
Professor Chengke Zhou is currently with the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University, UK. He is also a visiting professor to Wuhan University, China. He has over 30 years research experience in power systems and high voltage condition monitoring and has acted as consultant to UK Power Networks, EDF Energy and Scottish Power. His research interests span from the optimal operation of power systems with renewables and electric vehicles, load forecast models, demand side management to high voltage plant and wind farm condition monitoring. He has published over 180 papers including over 40 in IET Journal and IEEE Transactions. He has led two UK EPSRC funded and numerous industrially funded research projects. He was also a member of CIGRE working D1.39 and C1.38.
Prof. Zhou is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of IET, Senior Member of IEEE.
Prof. Junye Wang, Athabasca University, Canada
Dr. Junye Wang is a Professor and the Campus Alberta Innovation Program (CAIP) Research Chair at Athabasca University, Canada. He received his M.Sc. degree in thermo-physics from Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering Institute, Ph.D. degrees in chemical and mechanical engineering from East China University of Science and Technology in 1989 and 1996, respectively. Then he joined Shanghai Jiaotong University as an associate professor in 1996. From 1999 till 2012 he worked at the Universities of Sheffield, Greenwich, and Loughborough, and Scottish Crop Research Institute and Rothamsted Research, UK, as research associate, research scientist and principal research scientist, respectively. Dr. Wang has over 30 years’ experience of multi-scale and multidisciplinary modelling and is internationally recognized leader in energy, environment and sustainability. Prof. Wang and his team has been developing a modelling framework of integrated terrestrial and aquatic systems by utilizing innovative computational technologies. He has authored/co-authored over 150 papers, including over 80 refereed journal papers, and serves as associate editor and editorial board member on several international journals. He is also a reviewer of papers for over 80 international journals.
Prof. Weimin Wu, Shanghai Maritime University, China
Prof. Weimin Wu received Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2005. He worked as a research engineer in the Delta Power Electronic Center (DPEC), Shanghai, from July, 2005 to June, 2006. Since July, 2006, he has been a Faculty Member at Shanghai Maritime University, where he is currently a Full Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering. He was a Visiting Professor in the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES), Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, USA, from Sept. 2008 to March. 2009. From Nov. 2011 to Jan. 2014, he was also a visiting professor in the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Demark, working at the Center of Reliable Power Electronics (CORPE). He has coauthored over 100 papers and holds eight patents. His areas of interests include power converters for renewable energy systems, power quality, smart grid, and energy storage technology. Dr. Wu serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRY ELECTRONICS.
Prof. Dr. Lin Chen, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China (Tohoku University, Japan)
Dr. L. Chen is now a Professor in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. He obtained his B.Eng and PhD in from Peking University. He is also a granted JSPS/JST-CREST Research Fellow and Assistant Professor in Tohoku University (Japan). His current research topics include renewable and unconventional energy resources, supercritical fluids, multiscale heat/mass transfer, and advanced measurement techniques.
In recent years, he has authored more than 120 well-cited international journal papers and/or conference presentations/keynotes/invited talks, books/chapters, including the most famous one on energy conversion (“Advanced Applications of Supercritical Fluids in Energy Systems”, IGI Global, 2017, 680 pages). Dr. L. Chen is a winner of the President Scholarship, National Scholarship (MOE), Elite Scholar, Young Scientist Award, and many other honors/awards. He received the Innovation Award in 2011, 2012, and 2014, Elsevier journal TOP5 most-cited paper and the Elsevier Excellent Reviewer (2013, 2017). He is also a Reviewer, an Editorial/Advisory/TPC Member/Guest Editor for many renowned international journals/conferences.
